Architectural Design of Semi-detached Residential Buildings in Tar

The project was developed in Tar, near Poreč, with the aim of creating a contemporary residential complex that meets the demands of modern living while respecting the spatial identity of Istria. The development consists of semi-detached apartment buildings that are spatially and visually harmonized into a coherent whole, resulting in a recognizable yet balanced urban ensemble.

The architectural concept is based on clear geometric forms and carefully articulated volumes that allow for optimal apartment layouts, ensure privacy, and provide high-quality views of the surroundings. Special attention was given to orientation and spatial organization in order to maximize natural light, enhance functionality, and provide flexible living spaces for future residents.

The façades are designed in neutral tones and complemented with natural materials, allowing for a subtle integration into the Istrian landscape. Combined with landscaped green areas and open communal spaces, the project emphasizes the relationship between architecture and its natural setting, creating a comfortable and balanced environment for everyday life.

The project demonstrates how contemporary architectural expression can be integrated into the local context without compromising its ambient values, but rather by highlighting and reinterpreting them. It serves as a model for the sustainable development of residential areas in coastal environments, where quality of living is combined with respect for local identity.
